Data Center Energy Approach

On Site Generation for Data Center Optimization

In addition to traditional generation applications, NgenX Energy approaches Data Center resiliency and efficiency with a unique application of on-site power generation, thermal recovery and chilled water generation through absorption cooling, or for large applications, steam driven chilling.  For liquid cooling solution Such as Direct to Chip or Rear Door chilling, recovering thermal energy enables as much as 300kw per megawatt of generation to revert back to IT load versus cooling load giving users up to 50% more power for IT. Leveraging waste heat from the generation initiative, our approach to resiliency ensures 5  "nines" reliability while providing redundant cooling capability under an energy as a service model.  Under and Energy As A Service (EaaS) model and with potential for no up front capital, our approach reduces operations costs by up to 35% while providing a higher degree of reliability and resiliency and a path for expansion that supports the current rapid industry growth.


Further enhancing the value proposition is rapid deployment of generation technologies and modular data Center Technologies.  Our Partnership with BladeRoom, Kais Air and a cadre of engine manufacturers enables us to rapidly develop a turnkey rack ready POWERED data center is as little as 8 to 10 months. With power at an absolute premium, the ability to bring your data center on line quickly pays a high dividend. Under a modular approach revenue generation starts months, if not years, ahead of current development options and utility expectations and utilizing waste energy to provide IT cooling increases effective IT load availability by over 30%. Your 20MW data center is really 17MW of critical load, not 12M of IT load and 8 MW of Cooling, Losses  and Ancillary Consumption.
